2. LAUGH OFF YOUR FALLS

When the Best Actress winner walked up on stage to accept her Oscar, she slipped on the stairs. Instead of getting flustered, she responded to the standing ovation by saying self-deprecatingly, "You guys are just standing up 'cause you feel bad that I fell and that's really embarrassing, but thank you." She later joked that she "absolutely" took a tumble on purpose.
