Getting red carpet-ready starts long before the morning of the Oscars! Dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban starts prepping her clients at least two weeks in advance. First up: her signature facial. Nicole Kidman's a fan of the brown-sugar scrub with honey and a mask of olive oil and green tea ($350 for one hour). For those skimpy dresses, the back and arms get a chamomile, green tea and flaxseed-oil scrub ($450 for one-and-a-half hours). “To tighten the skin on the body we use Thermage or SmoothShape,” says Shamban of the high-tech treatments, which use lasers to diminish cellulite. (The sessions cost up to $3,600). If a star is on location, Shamban's Radical Departure Kit fills in. "Everyone needs an accelerated program occasionally," says Shamban.
