POWER UP YOUR PREGNANCY
Sarah Michelle Gellar is staying fit throughout her first pregnancy thanks to private 55-minute sessions, two to three times a week, at New York City's Real Pilates Studio. "She's a rock star," says the studio’s founder, Alycea Ungaro. "She's over the moon [about the baby], but very practical – she's about taking care of herself." The trainer's fit tips for moms-to-be include strengthening the hips, glutes and abs as well as incorporating exercises like side-lying legwork. "Baby care requires a tremendous amount of stooping as you cradle the baby and push a stroller," says Ungaro. "So I work with my moms-to-be on strengthening the upper back muscles." – Kristen Mascia
