When Natalie Portman needed custom ballet costumes for the 2010 thriller Black Swan, she rang pals Kate and Laura Mulleavy. And when it came time for her wedding dress, she called them up again. "It's the first time I've had really close girlfriends," Portman gushed to Vogue of the L.A.-based Rodarte designers. "[They] have schedules that are similar to mine, so we can go for a hike at noon or to the museum in the middle of the day."
