The only thing that seems to be attracting more attention than Jared Leto these days? Jared Leto's hair.

And for good reason – those shiny, sun-kissed locks on the Dallas Buyers Club Oscar contender are the kind of tresses that every woman craves, both to have on top of her head and to run her fingers through. He is also one of the very few men in the world who can wear a man bun or chignon and still be considered extremely sexy.

That said, upon looking at images of his various hairstyles throughout the years, we discovered that some of them very closely resembled the 'dos of the Central Perk crew – yes, the cast of Friends. Don't believe it? Check out the proof below.

The Ross Geller

In October 2011, Leto went for the "giant hair, don't care" look that everyone's favorite fictional paleontologist also wore throughout the show.

In 2005, when he was starting to make it big with the 30 Seconds to Mars song "A Beautiful Lie," Leto adopted a goth look that included a dark layered bob exactly like the one Monica used to sport.

The Rachel

Ladies and gentlemen, this one needs no introduction. In 2009, Leto began wearing the layered shag made extremely famous in the '90s by a certain Long Island princess.

It would be a shame not to include the ombré beachy waves that Leto has been wearing of late – and to point out that it looks exactly like Jennifer Aniston's current favorite style.

The Chandler Bing

Or is it the Chandler Bong? Either way, this short, piecey gelled look is the same hairdo as the character played by Matthew Perry, whose job on the show we never did quite figure out.

The Joey Tribbiani

Joey Tribbiani or Jordan Catalano? In 2010, Leto preferred a super short, spiky crop that Matt LeBlanc also always wore. We can practically hear Leto asking, “How YOU doing?”

The Phoebe Buffay

They're both musicians with hit songs ("Closer to the Edge" and "Smelly Cat," respectively) and have worn shoulder-length blond layers. Twinsies!
