She’s been keeping a low profile lately, but Anne Hathaway will return to the spotlight next month for Oscar night – a year after winning Best Supporting Actress for Les Misérables.
Hathaway, 31, will be among the presenters at the March 2 show, producers announced Tuesday.
Her appearance on Hollywood’s biggest night comes after a quiet year professionally for the actress, in which she made just a single cameo in Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Don Jon. “My impression is that people needed a break from me,” she recently told the Huffington Post with a laugh.
Yet she’s always had featured roles at the Academy Awards. She was first nominated in 2009 for Rachel Getting Married, and memorably helped Hugh Jackman with his opening number that year.
Two years later, she and James Franco co-hosted the 83rd Academy Awards.
Hathaway joins Jennifer Lawrence and Daniel Day-Lewis among the 2014 presenters. Ellen DeGeneres is hosting the show for the second time.
