She's been keeping a low profile lately, but Anne Hathaway
will return to the spotlight next month for Oscar night – a year after winning Best Supporting Actress
for Les Misérables.
Hathaway, 31, will be among the presenters at the March 2 show, producers announced Tuesday.
Her appearance on Hollywood's biggest night comes after a quiet year professionally for the actress, in which she made just a single cameo in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Don Jon
. "My impression is that people needed a break from me," she recently told the Huffington Post
with a laugh.
Yet she's always had featured roles at the Academy Awards. She was first nominated in 2009 for Rachel Getting Married
, and memorably helped Hugh Jackman
with his opening number
Two years later, she and James Franco
co-hosted the 83rd Academy Awards.
Hathaway joins Jennifer Lawrence
and Daniel Day-Lewis among the 2014 presenters
. Ellen DeGeneres
is hosting the show
for the second time.
