Oscars 2014: Listen to All Five Nominees for Best Song

01/16/2014 at 03:30 PM EST

The nominees for the Oscar for Best Original Song not familiar to you? That is about to remedied.

One of these tunes will bring home the gold on Oscar night, March 2.

'Alone Yet Not Alone' from Alone Yet Not Alone

"Alone Yet Not Alone" is performed by Joni Eareckson Tada. The music is by Bruce Broughton, and the lyrics Dennis Spiegel. This is Broughton's second Oscar nomination (his first in 1985 was for the original score to Silverado) and Spiegel's first.

'Happy' from Despicable Me 2

This is Pharrell Williams's first Oscar nod. He has won three Grammys in the past, and this year is nominated for seven.

'Let It Go' from Frozen

Performed in the film by Idina Menzel, who voices the lead character Elsa, "Let It Go" was written by first-time Oscar nominees Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

'The Moon Song' from Her

Karen O wrote the music for "The Moon Song," and her ex-boyfriend and director Spike Jonze helped with the lyrics. This is O's first Oscar nom, and Jonze's fourth: He was previously nominated as a director in 1999 for Being John Malkovich, and this year, he's in the running for Best Picture and Original Screenplay for Her, in addition to this category.

'Ordinary Love' from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom

Written by U2, this song brings the band its second Oscar nomination. They were previously nominated for their contribution to 2002's Gangs of New York, "The Hands That Built America (Theme from Gangs of New York)."

Snubbed: 'Please Mr. Kennedy' from Inside Llewyn Davis

Sadly, Inside Llewyn Davis's "Please Mr. Kennedy" was not eligible for an Oscar due to a technicality. (Something about being a pastiche of a parody; for the explanation, click here.) Too bad this song won't make it to the Oscars, especially given how the film was shut out of every other major category.
