Grammy Awards 2014: Jay-Z, Beyonce, Macklemore

As per usual, music's biggest night felt more like a concert-fashion show hybrid than an awards ceremony. The most famous faces in entertainment flocked to the Staples Center for Sunday's Grammy Awards to tip their hats (sometimes literally) to industry peers and drink in all of the action (out of the ultimate sippy cup, no less).

There was no shortage of high notes – or highlights. So, we're handing out awards for ...

Sexiest Opening Act

#Surfboards around the world were riding the ultimate wave as Beyoncé and husband Jay Z kicked off the show with a bang (and a twerk). Their duet to "Drunk In Love" reminded viewers who the real royals of the show were – no offense, Lorde – and inspired us all to show up to work Monday morning with wet hair, winter weather be damned.

Most Literal Dress

Katy Perry hit all the right notes in her silk tulle, haute-off-the-runway Valentino stunner, which was embroidered with the score to Verdi's La Traviata.

Best Accessory

While clown noses and Daft Punk's helmets made the Grammys predictably weird, it was Pharrell Williams who came out on top with his Royal Canadian Mountie topper. And, in case you were wondering, yes, you can keep tabs on his hat via Twitter.

Most Creative Use of Grammy

Another reason to live vicariously through Blue Ivy: While accepting the Grammy for best rap/sung collaboration, Jay Z shouted out to his 2-year-old, "And I wanna tell Blue, 'Look, Daddy got a gold sippy cup for you.'" Cheers!

Best Moment to Reach for Your Tissues

In a TV moment that drove Kleenex's stock up through the roof of the Staples Center, 33 couples of different ages, races and sexual orientations wed in a mass exchange of vows officiated by Queen Latifah. Their wedding singers? No big deal – just Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Madonna, Mary Lambert and Trombone Shorty with a medley of "Same Love" and "Open Your Heart."
