Sure, there are awards handed out at the Grammys
. But the real fun comes in seeing who takes the stage – and how they work it.
and Jay Z set the bar high with their hot "Drunk in Love" duet, and Katy Perry
put on a creepy-chic performance of "Darkhorse."
John Legend slowed things down with his goosebump-inducing "All of Me" (which he wrote for Chrissy Teigen
and performed at their September wedding).
Pink took to the air – again – with a high-flying performance
, and when Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons took the stage, Taylor Swift
had an all-out dance party
from the audience.
And in one of the most highly anticipated collaborations, Pharrell Williams
teamed up with Daft Punk and Stevie Wonder to the delight of the crowd – who danced like no one was watching.
And of course, there was Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Madonna and Mary Lambert's showstopping performance (which went from "Same Love" to "Open Your Heart") as 33 couples were married on the show.
