True to her word, when Quvenzhané Wallis hit the Oscar red carpet on Sunday, she was carrying one her of signature pooch purses.
"This is a special dog," she told Ryan Seacrest on the E! red carpet pre-show. "It's renamed after my puppy I have at home – Sandy."
The brown-and-black purse even sported some special Oscar attire of its own: a blue tulle skirt and a tiara.
The paw-dorable accessory has been a constant for Wallis as she's made the awards show rounds over the past few months. When she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in January, the 9-year-old admitted to owning "about 20" of the handbags, crated by Poochie & Co.
The name "Sandy" has extra-special meaning now, too: It was announced on Monday that Wallis will star in an upcoming remake of Annie, alongside a trusty pooch named Sandy.
