That November holiday with the turkey has long since passed, but Taylor Swift has kicked off 2010 by showing her gratitude.

Swift, who on top of her eight nominations is due to present and perform at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles Jan. 31, starts off her most recent MySpace blog post by saying, "Thank you January."

Analyzing the month, she says, "I've gone over the memories and jumped up and down with my producer and floated around with nothing on my schedule other than just appreciating what my life has somehow turned into. So thank you for giving me so much to be thankful for this January."

Swift, 20, writes that she's been spending her time walking on "snow-covered grass," discovering new coffee shops and laughing "hysterically with friends about things that probably weren't technically funny."

She also documents her downtime through several photos, mostly black and white, depicting everyday moments with family and friends: eating frozen yogurt, celebrating her mom's birthday party and working during studio time.

One image shows Swift and her younger – but taller – brother, prompting Swift to provide the caption: "I realized my little brother is no longer little."
