STICKY SITUATION

Waterproof sunscreens that keep skin gorgeous long-term can sometimes congest complexions in the short-term. "Waterproof SPFs are made with an adhesive," says Dr. Ellen Marmur, chief dermatologist at NYC's Mount Sinai Medical Center, "[and removing them with] an exfoliator helps to transition skin from day to night and get rid of that sticky feeling." Just don't overdo it on tender summer skin. "You don't have to use a lot of harsh soaps to get rid of that feeling on your skin." she says. "Instead, you can exfoliate with something gentle like Terralina's Facial Exfoliator, $24, and finish up with a creamy moisturizer."
