In the 1992 hit A League of Their Own, Madonna starred as "All the Way Mae," a center-fielder for the Rockford Peaches in the WWII-era baseball movie. The film also starred Tom Hanks, Geena Davis and Rosie O'Donnell, who became a close pal of the pop star.
