The host of the evening (in Gucci, of course) helped raise $3.7 million for the event benefiting children made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS in Africa. Her longtime business associate Guy Oseary tells PEOPLE, "A lot of [Madonna's] heartfelt time and energy and passion went into this event."
