Alexander McQueen Dishes About His Upcoming Line With Target

He’s already have won over stars like Eve and Joy Bryant with his renegade fashions, and — as we reported two weeks ago — Alexander McQueen is ready to make the rest of America into fans with a new line for Target. In an interview with WWD, the designer dishes about his motivations behind the budget-friendly collection, McQ Alexander McQueen for Target, which will top out in price at $130 — a far cry from the thousands-high price tags of his usual clothing. His favorite challenge in doing a line with the retailer was in winning over an untapped audience. “Apart from the East and West Coasts, my company doesn’t have any visibility in the U.S.,” he says. “I always liked the idea of people in the Midwest wear my clothes. The idea of this upstart from London going to where people haven’t heard of me, I think that was interesting to me.” And, he adds, “I think it’s quite adventurous of Target.” Tell us: Will you be lining up at select Target stores — or on Target.com — to grab McQueen’s goods when they launch in March?

Beyonce’s Metallic Glove: Love it or Hate it? Vote Now!

Wearing one glove may be a trend that Michael Jackson launched back in the ’80s, but it looks like Beyonce is putting her own twist on the look. Since launching her “Single Ladies” video last month, the R&B star has been wearing the custom-made titanium Lorraine Schwartz mechanical glove on- and off-stage as her alter ego “Sasha Fierce.” Though the glove is a “fierce” on-stage prop, we aren’t sure it translates into red carpet fabulous. USA Today readers agree. More than 700 weighed in and only 4% coined it a “fun new trend”. Now we want to know what PEOPLE.com readers think. Do you like Beyonce’s glove or do you wish she would ditch it? Vote now!

Twilight’s Undead Vamp It Up for InStyle

They may normally be ice cold and pale, but the vampires of Twilight look red-hot in tuxedo-inspired fashion in this month’s InStyle. Shot under the desolate skies of Portland, Ore., the film limited its actors’ wardrobe to “lots of jackets, hoodies and thermals,” leading lady and human love interest Kristen Stewart, 18, tells the December issue of InStyle. “If we were throwing our own party, this is what we would wear.” Modeling leather pants, bejeweled accessories, and unbuttoned dinner jackets, Stewart and castmates Kellan Lutz, 23, Nikki Reed, 20, Rachel Lefevre, 28, and Robert Pattinson, 22, sport formalwear befitting their undead counterparts. “It’s like we’ve gone in and taken our grandmother’s silver, brought it outside and tarnished it,” says Lefevre.
