One acceptable excuse to wear sunglasses at night? Seven million blazing bulbs of holiday cheer.
Every year Nabana no Sato, a theme park in Kuwana, Japan, decks its halls with a glittering array of LED lights. The annual installation, called “Winter Illumination,” attracts visitors from around the world.
Out of the 7 million bulbs that make up the luminous wonderland, a majority go into crafting the park's most popular attractions, the Tunnel of Light and Mt. Fuji.
Mt. Fuji, while less immersive, is equally impressive, depicting the Japanese landmark’s soothing transition through the seasons.
It’s a spectacle that should leave any bedazzled holiday house flickering with awe.
