But what will certainly have music fans buzzing all week is part two of the long-simmering feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift. Over the course of Sunday’s show from L.A.’s Nokia Theater, the two (separately) took the stage and performed personal, unreleased songs that, at least in the context of the show, pointedly addressed last year’s stage-crashing by West.
Swift performed first, and unveiled a dark folk song, praising innocence. “It’s all right, just wait and see. Your string of lights is still bright to me. You’re still an innocent,” she sang.
