Angelina's Environmental Work Threatened

THREATENED: Angelina Jolie’s work to protect an area of Cambodian land is reportedly being threatened by an influx of settlers. The land, located in northwest Cambodia, is forestland that a conservation group funded by the actress hopes to protect, and once belonged to the Khmer Rogue regime, which ruled the country in the 1970s. Jolie has donated $1.5 million to the conservation efforts, but some 1,000 people have recently settled in the area, cutting down the forest to grow crops.
