Celebrating Every '80s Reference in That RadioShack Super Bowl Commercial

The Super Bowl doubled as throwback Sunday for RadioShack, with the brand unveiling a hilarious new ad that pays tribute to the most beloved celebrities from ’80s pop culture. Gabby Douglas Poses with Team USA's All-Around Gymnastics Champions

Call them the Fab Four. Or, perhaps even more fitting, the Golden Girls.

After scoring the top spot on the medals stand in Thursday’s all-around gymnastics competition, Gabrielle “Gabby” Douglas was in good company with the three other American women who achieved the same feat.

Douglas, 16, officially joined the ranks of Nastia Liukin, Carly Patterson and Mary Lou Retton – and posed with her fellow all-around champions following her 62.232-point finish.

Mary Lou Retton: Compassion for Marion Jones

Olympic gold medalist Mary Lou Retton has compassion for Olympic gold medalist Marion Jones, who on Jan. 11 was sentenced to six months in prison for lying to investigators about her use of performance-enhancers.

“She was such a role model. and it brings tears to my eyes right now and they are really sticking it to her,” Retton, 40, tells Access Hollywood.

Mary Lou Retton

Before Carly Patterson, there was Mary Lou Retton – the previous American to win the all-around title in women’s Olympic gymnastics at the 1984 Games in Los Angeles. The gold medalist, 36, is now the mother of four daughters, ages 2 to 9 (who are all immersed in gymnastics at varying levels) and the wife of financial analyst Shannon Kelley, to whom she’s been married for nearly 14 years. Retton talked to PEOPLE about passing the torch to Patterson and giving advice to the 16-year-old Olympic golden girl.
