Marisa Tomei Finds Stripping 'Really Hard'

Marisa Tomei has done her fair share of nude scenes, but even she was somewhat wary of dancing around in a G-string – and nothing else – in her role as a stripper opposite Micky Rourke, in The Wrestler.

“The script called for certain points where the [Rourke’s character] has to put money in my G-string, so I definitely had to be wearing a G-string – I couldn’t be wearing boy shorts,” the My Cousin Vinny Oscar winner, 44, confesses to Premiere.

Tomei Heads To 'Lobby'

Marisa Tomei, who appeared on Broadway in “Wait Until Dark” opposite Quentin Tarantino last season, has signed to star in “The Lobby,” which is seeking an Off Broadway debut in the fall, Variety reports. The play explores the relationship between a white security guard and his black boss as they trade observations about two cops who are using the apartment building they guard as a trysting spot. Tomei was most recently on the big screen last year in “Slums of Beverly Hills.” She won an Oscar for her work in the 1992 picture “My Cousin Vinny.”
