Kelly Preston to Play John Travolta's Wife in Gotti Movie

The upcoming movie about the Gotti crime family is turning into a family affair for the actors, too.

Fiore Films has confirmed that Kelly Preston will join her real-life husband John Travolta, who plays John Gotti Sr., as his onscreen wife. Victoria Gotti, in Gotti: Three Generations.

And not only that – their real-life daughter, Ella Bleu, 11, will play their on-screen daughter, Angel Gotti.

“We are not talking any further about Lindsay playing Victoria,” says Marc Fiore, producer of Gotti: Three Generations. “She is no longer being considered. The talks have stopped. We are going to meet with other people [for the role].”

John Gotti: Cancer?

Legendary mob boss John Gotti, 59, is suffering with aggressive and deadly throat cancer, reports New York’s Daily News. Two years ago Gotti, currently serving a life-sentence for racketeering and murder, had a tumor removed from the back of his throat, says the paper. It also reports that on Sept. 13 Gotti was removed from the maximum-security federal prison in Marion, Ill., and put into a prison hospital in Springfield, Mo. Gotti’s daughter, novelist Victoria Gotti, was tightlipped with the News.
