Colin Powell proved selfies aren’t just a millennial phenomenon, posting a mirror pic from the 1950s to his Facebook page on Thursday.

Powell, 76, bridged the generational gap with his black-and-white photograph, which showed his younger, very dapper self posing in a bedroom.

Bush Cabinet Shakeup: Colin Powell Quits

Secretary of State Colin Powell and three other members of President Bush’s 15-person Cabinet resigned on Monday, the White House has confirmed.

The Associated Press reports that current national security adviser Condoleezza Rice is most likely to succeed Powell in the top spot.

Besides Powell, the other departures are Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham, Agriculture Secretary Ann Veneman and Education Secretary Rod Paige. The three follow the post-Nov. 2 election resignations of Attorney General John Ashcroft and Commerce Secretary Donald Evans.

The shock jock took on Federal Communications Commission chairman Michael Powell on Tuesday morning when Stern called a radio show on which Powell was a guest. Now, Powell’s father, Secretary of State Colin Powell, is stepping into the feud, dismissing Stern’s comments to the FCC chairman that “your father got you your job.”

Colin Powell Joins MTV Generation

Carson Daly, move over. Colin Powell is coming to MTV. Sometime soon (the date is, as yet, undetermined), the U.S. Secretary of State, 63, will participate in an MTV-sponsored international youth forum on the war on terrorism and other issues, says the Hollywood Reporter. To be the basis of an hour-long special to originate from Washington, the Q & A session will be broadcast on dozens of MTV channels and is expected to reach approximately 374 million households worldwide.
