Jeopardy Fail: Only One Contestant Makes It to Final Round (VIDEO)

It was not Jeopardy’s finest moment.

During Wednesday night’s game, the categories were challenging and the answers were killer. By the time the dust settled, two of the three contestants had negative scores – a very rare occurrence for the long-running game show.

So for Final Jeopardy, only one contestant was able to compete: Kristin Sausville, a 34-year-old stay-at-home mom and school volunteer from Delaware.

“This was not one of our greatest days,” host Alex Trebek said dryly. “Kristin, I think you’re going to win.”

Jeopardy Host Alex Trebek Sets a Guinness World Record

Alex Trebek doesn’t just win the prize for being able to pronounce foreign words better than any politician can – the Jeopardy host is now a Guinness World Record holder.

The 73-year-old was awarded a certificate from Guinness on Friday for the “most game show episodes hosted by the same presenter” – 6,829.

Trebek has hosted the show since 1984 and has asked more than 416,000 questions, but he revealed in a video commemorating his achievement that he’s not ready to retire just yet.

Jeopardy!'s 'Renegade' Champion Arthur Chu Unseated After 12 Days

Jeopardy! champ Arthur Chu, who won big money while taking heat for his renegade style, has been defeated.

Chu finished in third place with zero dollars on Wednesday’s edition of the syndicated quiz show. He had reigned for 12 days. His total winnings were $297,200.

“A great run,” summed up host Alex Trebek.

Chu was unseated by Diana Peloquin of Ann Arbor, Mich., who led for the day with $15,700.

Jeopardy!'s Alex Trebek Suffers Heart Attack

Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek is expected to make a full recovery after suffering a “mild heart attack.”

Sent to Los Angeles’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Saturday, “Trebek is in good spirits and is currently under observation and undergoing further testing,” reads a statement from Sony Pictures Television, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
