Bob Casale, Original Band Member of Devo, Dies at 61

Bob Casale, the guitarist for the band Devo, has died. He was 61.

Casale succumbed Monday to “conditions that lead to heart failure,” according to his brother and band mate Gerald Casale, who posted the news on the band’s Facebook page.

“As an original member of Devo, Bob Casale was there in the trenches with me from the beginning,” Gerald wrote. “He was my levelheaded brother, solid performer and talented audio engineer, always giving more than he got.”
