Achieving international fame after sweeping the 2008 Grammys with her breakthrough album Back to Black, Winehouse's musical acclaim was marred by her ongoing battle with drugs and alcohol addiction. The 27-year-old singer was found dead in her London home on July 23, 2011 – the result of accidental alcohol poisoning.
