Colin Egglesfield was arrested Saturday morning in Tempe, Ariz.

The former Client List star, 41, was charged with criminal damage and disorderly conduct after an officer caught him knocking over barriers, flipping over a table and breaking several signs inside a tent set up at the Tempe Festival of the Arts, a spokesperson for the Tempe Police Department confirms to PEOPLE.

He was released on a $1,000 bond.

Just a couple of days after his arrest, Egglesfield was photographed in seemingly fine spirits dining out with Trophy Wife actress Malin Akerman in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.

The actor first gained fame as Joshua Madden in All My Children and later appeared in the Melrose Place reboot, Rizzoli & Isles and Drop Dead Diva.

Egglesfield also made the leap to the big screen, playing opposite Kate Hudson in the 2011 romantic comedy Something Borrowed.
