When she gets a little older, Grace Anderson is going to have a great story to tell about the day she was born.

Her parents, Nick and Amy Anderson, got stuck in traffic Tuesday while on their way to the hospital, reports CNN. Unable to get through the complete gridlock that plagued many Atlanta-area highways during a snowstorm, Amy informed her husband she was going to have their baby in the car.

Nick phoned 911, and a dispatcher instructed him on how to deliver the baby. A local police officer, Tim Sheffield, stopped to assist.

“I asked the driver, I said, ‘Are you stuck or broke down?’ ” Sheffield told CNN. ” And [Nick] said, ‘Nope,’ real calm. ‘We’re having a baby.’ ”
