Did the Palm Springs desert air help to thaw the freeze between long-feuding frenemies Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump?
Relations have long been frosty between The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members, but Monday night’s episode hinted that the duo might finally be ready to bury the hatchet.
When Vanderpump asked Kyle why she looked upset after fighting with Brandi Glanville during their girls-only weekend in Palm Springs, Kyle tearfully walked over for a hug as Vanderpump showered her with maternal affection.
“I know I know, it’s everything that’s going on right now,” she said soothingly, referring to persistent rumors that Kyle’s husband, Mauricio Umansky, has been unfaithful.
“I don’t want everybody to fight. I can’t take it in my life right now,” Kyle said tearfully.
Even Yolanda Foster and Kyle, who have feuded since last season’s reunion show, shared a tender moment, after Richards broke down in her frenemy’s arms.
“When you’re husband’s being dragged through the trash rags,” Foster said, “you stick together. … Life is too short.”
Meanwhile, Brandi also had her share of drama, but not the kind she’s used to. After spouting what was deemed a racist comment at Joyce Giraud and calling Kyle an “a––hole,” Brandi was devastated when she learned her house had been broken into and her rescue dog, Chica, was lost.
Animals actually bonded a couple of the Housewives in the desert, when Kim and new cast member Carlton Gebbia shared a moment feeding the squirrels together after the group took the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway into the surrounding mountains.
“I marvel at creation,” Gebbia said. “That’s why I have such an affiliation with animals. It’s sacred.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Mondays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
