Was it a date? Vanessa Hudgens took a break from the action on the basketball court to check out a private Jimmy Choo and Palazzo Las Vegas shopping event with new pal Josh Hutcherson. The duo, who were at the Staples Center to watch the Lakers take on the New Orleans Hornets, stuck close, and Hutcherson followed Hudgens around for much of the time she shopped. “They were all smiles and adorable all evening,” an onlooker says of the cozy pair.
Also at the Lakers game: David Beckham and eldest son Brooklyn, who checked out the private sale, which benefited the Lakers Youth Foundation. They also spent time with Tom Cruise, who was seated next to son Connor, as the guys cheered on the home team from their floor seats. A few seats away, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine watched the game with his little brother, who was seated next to Jeremy Piven.
Over the weekend, the Chateau Marmont was equally star-studded: Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale enjoyed an evening with a large group of friends, including Kate Bosworth, Alexander Skarsgard and lots of Brits. Stefani and Rossdale stayed by each other’s sides for most of the night, while Gwen got chatty with a female who sat next to her. Skarsgard was pretty social, too, as he sipped on a beer and bonded with male friends, while Bosworth did her own thing, hanging out in the lobby and mingling with revelers at the hotel.
Star Trek costars Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine were also at the Chateau Marmont, and they arrived together with a female friend. The trio ordered cocktails at their patio table, sticking around well after midnight. After what appeared to be a business chat, Quinto retrieved his car and drove away with Pine in the passenger seat.
