Music manager Johnny Wright, the man behind stars such as Britney Spears, NSYNC and the JoBros, is launching a global talent search to find out.
“It’s all taking place in cyberspace,” Wright tells PEOPLE of the search, which will happen via a new web series, On the Spot: Johnny Wright’s Quest for the Next Pop Sensation. Aspiring artists between the ages of 16 and 30 can send in video auditions to Onthespot.cambio from Dec. 8 through Jan. 28.
Wright plans to enlist the help of the Jonas Brothers, Ciara, Aaron Carter and other artists he has worked with to help him decide who should be finalists.
In fact, don’t be surprised if the Jonas Brothers pop up on the show. “Johnny has always been such a great friend, mentor and manager, not only to us but so many other amazing artists,” said the Jonas Brothers. “He has such a long history of finding great talent so we are excited to watch him during On the Spot, give our opinions where we can and see what he’s able to pull together.”
