The country duo Sugarland are pulling back the curtain to reveal the process behind making their new album – and has a first look at the footage.

Living Liner Notes – a live version of the writings usually found in a CD booklet – offers an inside look at the pair in their Atlanta studio during the February recording process of their fourth album, The Incredible Machine, due Oct. 19.

“The Living Liner Notes are exactly what they sound like they are, in the sense that, just like in an album, you receive the liner notes that talk about each song in different and varying degrees of detail,” Jennifer Nettles, 36, tells PEOPLE. “We actually did living versions of those where we talk about each song.”
