Some stars were there for the music – but Kellan Lutz was happy to just chill by the pool at the Riviera Hotel in Palm Springs, Calif. In the desert for the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, the Twilight star kept things mellow with his guy friends, who were sipping Belvedere drinks at the Music Loves Fashion pool party, which also drew out Lindsay Lohan, who was glued to her sister, Ali.
The next night, Josh Hartnett, also a Coachella-goer, partied in a nearby airplane hangar for the Armani Exchange and 944 magazine Neon Carnival bash. The actor rode a mechanical moose until he was bucked off – prompting the actor (and his friends, who watched) to crack up. Then they roamed the party, taking in the sights – including a giant Ferris wheel and bumper cars. Harnett did play one carnival game, the hammer test of strength, and he managed to strike the bell on his third attempt.
In Las Vegas for the Academy of Country Music Awards, where her band won big, Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott got flirty with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers at Tao nightclub. “Aaron is into her,” a source tells us. “They got there late.” Meanwhile, downstairs Reba McEntire dined on Thai roasted chicken, bass and chardonnay with friends and family.
Taylor Swift treated her band and crew to a private dinner at Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge at the Bellagio, where they dined on edamame, sushi, spare ribs and sashimi. Swift and her band also ate at Diablo’s Cantina at the Monte Carlo before the big awards show. Plus, the singer made time for a little shopping at French Connection and Armani Exchange.
Elsewhere LeAnn Rimes and boyfriend Eddie Cibrian took in the late performance of Cirque du Soleil’s Love, sipping water and snacking on popcorn during the show.
Peter Krause and Lauren Graham, who play brother and sister on NBC’s Parenthood shared a private night out in Sonoma County, Calif., dining at Charlie Palmer’s Dry Creek Kitchen. According to a source, the two were very gracious and sweet.
