A bearded Leonardo DiCaprio chatting up Morocco’s Prince Moulay Rachid one day before hosting an open air screening of The Aviator in Marrakesh’s Place Al Djemaa el-Fna. While the actor hobnobbed with fellow celebs (like Parker Posey and the film’s director Martin Scorsese), DiCaprio brought his mother as his date to the movie.
While in New York, Kate Moss, dining at Mercer Kitchen, the trendy eatery in the Mercer Hotel.
The unlikely pairing of Kid Rock and Will Ferrell, partying together at the 10th anniversary party of Studio 54 in Las Vegas. At the bash, the two chatted in Oscar De La Hoya’s VIP box. According to a source at the party, it was “a really eclectic group up there.” But the funnyman made an especially strong impression. “Will was very sweet to the staff,” the source tells us.
No Doubt drummer Adrian Young, raving about the surprise appearance by the Killers on the second night of KROQ’s annual “Almost Acoustic” Christmas show at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif. “I’m going to get my drink and head out to see them,” the rocker told us, backstage, before rocking out to the band’s four-song set. Backstage after their show, lead singer Brandon Flowers, in a red flannel shirt and toting an American Apparel bag, posed for pictures with radio staffers. Also in the audience: Michelle Trachtenberg and October Road star Bryan Greenberg.
