An animated Drew Barrymore, looking like she was about to take flight while waiting at Los Angeles International Airport. The actress and pal Cameron Diaz were reportedly on their way to Hawaii to celebrate Barrymore’s 32nd birthday (which is on Feb. 22).
Lindsay Lohan, laughing it up with pals at West Hollywood lounge Winston’s. The actress stuck to drinking her beverage of choice: water.
Jamie Foxx, holding court at the head of the table while having lunch with friends at The Ivy in Los Angeles. The Dreamgirls star – who was dressed in a stark white button-down shirt – wasn’t the most jovial companion: He wore his sunglasses and sat with his arms crossed. After having a salad and sharing some dishes, he drove off in his black Hummer. Also at The Ivy: tennis star Maria Sharapova, whose lunch of grilled shrimp and lobster ravioli in a cream sauce was interrupted by fans at the next table who were snapping pictures of her.
Winona Ryder, trying to charge some purchases at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills – but having her credit card declined. The embarrassed actress explained to the sales associate that her new New York City address could be the reason why her card wasn’t working.
Mark Wahlberg, blowing off some-pre Oscars steam at Studio City, Calif., bowling alley Pinz. His lane partner? Napoleon Dynamite star Jon Heder, though the true star of the game was the Best Supporting Actor nominee himself, who rolled strike after strike.

Jennifer Aniston, dining with pals Courteney Cox and David Arquette at Il Sole in West Hollywood. After being greeted by the owner, the chef and other staff, the trio enjoyed their meal of sashimi-grade ahi tuna seared with herbs along with artichoke and arugula salad on the patio – where Aniston smoked and Cox checked her Treo-like device.
Best Supporting Actor Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou, waiting about 30 minutes for a table at Beverly Hills eatery Mr. Chow. (Hey, who says getting a nod from the Academy guarantees you a seat?) But the Blood Diamond star made the most of his time and even posed for a photo with a fan. The actor recently got the rumor mill churning when he shared a friendly night out at L.A.’s Hyde Lounge with Cameron Diaz.
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, walking in hand-in-hand to L.A.’s Soho House outpost, a private space set up for Oscars week (it’s a West Coast version of New York City’s members-only club). The couple enjoyed a drink before settling down to have dinner with friend Penélope Cruz and a group of executives in the venue’s main dining room. (The trio then attended the GM Ten fashion show.) Drew Barrymore ate at a table nearby while Kylie Minogue ex Olivier Martinez sat with Rosario Dawson and a group of pals. Jude Law arrived for a late dinner at 9:30 p.m.

Caught in the Act: Las Vegas Edition!
Paris Hilton, celebrating her 26th birthday at the Body English nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino with on-again beau Stavros Niarchos, sister Nicky, her boyfriend David Katzenberg and pal Brody Jenner. When Prince’s song “Kiss” began playing, the birthday girl – who got a congratulatory shout-out over the loudspeaker from the deejay – started rocking out. She then took her crew to the bowling alley at 3 a.m.
Whitney Houston and Ray J, holding hands as they walked into the Budweiser and Sprite party at Tao. The duo was seen leaving immediately after Ray J ex Kim Kardashian arrived.
Ludacris, telling Queen Latifah how happy he was about his recent Grammy win at Zo and Magic’s 8-Ball Challenge pool tournament, which the hip-hop stars hosted at Wynn Las Vegas (proceeds benefited the Alonzo Mourning Charities for underprivileged children and The Magic Johnson Foundation). Nick Cannon deejayed the event and Gabrielle Union, Shaquille O’Neal and others made the scene.
Mario Lopez and his Dancing with the Stars partner Karina Smirnoff, kissing, bumping-and-grinding and whispering in each other’s ears at the new Revolution club at the Mirage Hotel and Casino. Also making the scene: Joel Madden, who deejayed a set of hip-hop and mashups, and 50 Cent, who ordered rounds of cognac as he held court in a back corner with his entourage.
David Arquette, leading his West team to a 40-21 victory over Chris Tucker’s East team at the McDonald’s Celebrity Game at the Mandalay Bay. Jamie Foxx and Nelly also hit the court and CaCee Cobb cheered on her man Donald Faison from the stands.
Diddy, downing Patrén shots at his Black-Tie Affair bash at Rain at the Palms hotel. “Ain’t nobody do it the way we do it,” he told the crowd over the loudspeakers, from his perch in the VIP section of the 25,000-sq-ft. club, which features a moat around the dance floor and machines that project fire above the dance floor. “You better not hold back. Take your shirt off. Take your panties off. This is Bad Boy (Records)!” At 2 a.m., the fire marshal showed up and stopped partygoers from entering the already-packed bash.
Eva Longoria and four pals getting facial treatments at Caesars Palace’s Qua spa in preparation for her and fiancé Tony Parker’s bash that night at Pure Nightclub. Also partying with the engaged couple: Cameron Diaz, who danced the night away with Rosie Perez and drank Chardonnay.
