MARRIED: Survivor and The Amazing Race star couple Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich finally went public with their wedding Tuesday, on a CBS special documenting the ceremony, which was held in the Bahamas at the Atlantis Paradise Island. Asked beforehand if she had cold feet, the bride-to-be replied: “I’ll admit the fact that we’ve had our times when we’ve had it out, and stressed on each other, but that’s why we’re there for each other.” As for the theme of the wedding – “beach chic” – Rob said that his friends didn’t quite get what that meant: “They said, Who’s the beach chick coming?’”
FOUND: Despite Lindsay Lohan’s announcement that she had spoken to the film’s director and looked forward to building up her body so she could do action sequences with Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible 3, it’s Michelle Monaghan who’s the latest actress to join the film, Paramount Pictures has announced. Monaghan’s credits include TV’s Boston Public and a small role in the upcoming Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie film Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Besides Lohan, Scarlett Johansson and Katie Holmes had been mentioned for possible roles in the film.
FOUGHT: Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, who has been ordered to pay what could be the biggest child support order in New York state history – $21,782 per month to ex-girlfriend Misa Hylton-Brim – vows to appeal, saying the case was an attack on his character. “It’s not about money. I don’t care how much money I have,” he said. “If you come at me and say I don’t take care of my child, I’m going to take care of that to the end,” the music mogul tells the Associated Press. In addition to child support, Combs said he also pays for his 11-year-old son Justin’s health insurance, tuition, vacations, clothes and other items, for a total of about $120,000 per year. Hylton-Brim’s lawyer, Brett Kimmel, told the AP that his client has proven in court that she needs more money.
