It’s always nice to see old friends come home again.
Warning: True Blood Spoilers Ahead.
After receiving the news that his mother had been killed by a vampire, Bon Temps’ own Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack) returns from Alaska on Sunday’s episode.
Upon hearing of Hoyt’s arrival, Jason (Ryan Kwanten) eagerly stops his shirtless vacuuming to meet up with his lifelong friend, despite the fact that Hoyt had all memory of Jason glamoured out of him before he left town. But when “Officer Stackhouse” joins Hoyt for a meal at Bellefleur’s, Jason finds himself in familiar territory – trying not to fall for his best bud’s girlfriend.
Hoyt’s new girlfriend doesn’t make it easy. She joins in for a long group hug after Jason lies to Hoyt about his mother being “one of the good guys,” who was not a member of the vampire-hating mob.
And if the shirtless vacuuming wasn’t enough naked Jason for fans, the chiseled blonde appears half-naked once again in the episode – but this time in a delusional vision.
On the run from the Japanese businessmen who blame her for ruining their True Blood business, and Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) finds that the pressure is beginning to get to her. The former pastor’s wife is plagued by visions of Jason, her dead ex-husband and her recently killed boyfriend, who all tell her she is “going to die tonight.”
But that’s not actually the businessmen’s plan. Mr. Gus (Will Yun Lee) has teamed up with Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Pam (Kristin Bauer Van Straten) to try to capture Sarah in hopes of synthesizing her blood so they can create (and sell) a cure for Hep-V called “New Blood.”
