Hollywood was rocked Monday by the news of Robin Williams’s death by his own hand.

“He had been battling severe depression of late,” his rep said in a statement. “This is a tragic and sudden loss.”

That loss was felt among his fans, friends and former costars, and many took to social media to mourn the loss of one of the industry’s greatest legends – one who, as fellow comedian Mike Myers said in a statement, “will be remembered in the company of Chaplin, Keaton and Groucho.”
